How to make a reservation?

Booking a service in GuestGenie is quick and easy, whether you’re looking to arrange transportation, book a tour, or request housekeeping.

Step-by-Step Guide to Booking a Service:

  1. Navigate to the Service Booking Section:

    • On the bottom navigation bar, tap on Planner or Main page, depending on the type of service you wish to book. You will be directed to a page displaying the available services for your current property or location.

  2. Browse Available Services:

    • Once you’re on the service booking page, you’ll see a list of options under the "Services" section. This section will show all the services you can book for your current property, such as:

      • Outdoor activities

      • Room service

      • Like a local

      • Cleaning & Laundry


  3. Select a Service:

    • Tap on the service you’d like to book. Each service will provide details such as availability, price, and any additional options


      You can either browse through the options or use the search bar to quickly find a specific service.

  4. Service details:

    After you’ve selected a service, you will be directed to the Service Details Page, where you can review important information before completing your booking. Here’s what you’ll find on this page:

  5. Choose Your Preferred Time Slot:
    Once you’ve selected a service, the next step is to choose a date and time that best fits your schedule. This step ensures that your service is booked for a time that’s convenient for you. Here’s how this section works:

    1. Date Selection:

      • At the top of the screen, you’ll see a calendar where you can select the date you want the service to be delivered or scheduled.

      • Only available dates for the service will be selectable, so you won’t have to worry about choosing a date when the service is unavailable.

      • If the service is something immediate (like food delivery), you can select today’s date for same-day service.

    2. Time Slot Selection:

      • After selecting a date, available time slots for that day will be displayed below.

      • Choose the time that works best for you. The times will be in intervals depending on the type of service (e.g., every 30 minutes or hourly slots).

      • If it’s an on-demand service (such as in-room dining), there may be an option for ASAP, which schedules the service for the earliest available time.

    3. Service Availability:

      • Some services may have restricted availability based on the time of day. For example, room service might only be available during specific hours. In such cases, the available time slots will adjust accordingly to reflect this.


  6. Payment process:

    After you’ve selected your service and confirmed the date and time, the final step before your reservation is completed is the payment process. Here’s what to expect during this step:

    Choose a Payment Method:

    • If you’ve already saved a payment method through Stripe in GuestGenie, it will automatically appear as the default option.

    • To add a new payment method, click on Add Payment Method. You can use credit cards, debit cards, or other supported payment options through Stripe.

    Tap Pay Now to initiate the payment through Stripe. You’ll be redirected to a secure Stripe payment page or a secure Stripe form integrated within the app.

  7. Reservation confirmation:

    Once the payment is successfully processed, you will immediately see a Reservation Confirmation on the screen.
