How to Set-up Non-Working days?

Updated over a year ago

Follow these steps to configure non-working days within the Provider Manager.

1. Access the Provider Manager

Log in to the provider manager platform and select the workspace you want to work on.

2. Go to Non-Working Days Section

In the left sidebar of the platform, you'll find all the sections related to the branch selected in the workspace you are working on.

3. Click on "Create a non-working day"

At the top-right you will find a button to create a new non-working day.

4. Steps to Create a Non-Working Day:

  1. Name (Required):

    • Enter a name for the non-working day.

    • This could be the holiday or event name, such as:

      • "Christmas Day"

      • "Annual Maintenance"

  2. Description:

    • Provide additional details or notes about the non-working day.

    • This could include reasons for closure or specific instructions:

      • "Closed for system maintenance from 9 AM to 5 PM."

      • "Public holiday—no staff available."

  3. Date (Required):

    • Choose the start and end dates for the non-working period.

    • If it’s a single day, select the same date for both the start and end fields.
      Examples:

      • Start Date: Dec 25, 2024 / End Date: Dec 25, 2024
        (Single-day closure for Christmas)

      • Start Date: Aug 1, 2024 / End Date: Aug 3, 2024
        (Three-day maintenance period)

  4. Apply To (Required):

    • Branch:
Select this option if the non-working day affects the entire branch (e.g., the whole property is closed).
Example: A hotel shuts down for renovation.

    • Service:
Choose this if the non-working day applies to specific services only, while other services remain available.
Example: The spa is unavailable, but housekeeping services remain active.

  5. Create or Cancel:

    • Once you have filled in all the required information:

      • Click Create to save the non-working day and block availability during the specified period.

      • Click Cancel if you want to discard the changes.
